Accredited's Management
Deborah Jallad — President and Chair of the Board/Director
Debbie has worked for Accredited since its inception. Today, she is an officer and director, responsible for overseeing all corporate planning, investments, profit-sharing investments, expansion and diversification, marketing and recruiting. Under her leadership, Accredited has grown five-fold and is now one of the top commercial surety firms in the country.
Debbie has been actively involved in developing industry standards for bail and lobbying for reform. She works closely with Accredited’s political consultants, state and national bail associations, and legislators to increase safety for bail agents and the public.
Along with her sister Sharon, Debbie was honored as a “Trailblazer,” a coveted award given by the National Association of Women Business Owners and Wells Fargo. In addition, she was a finalist for the Orlando Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” and is a recipient of WMFE’s “Speaking of Women” award.
Sharon Snow Jallad — Executive Vice President/Secretary/Director
In 1994, Sharon joined Accredited’s management team, partnering with her sister, Debbie, to expand the family business. As Executive Vice President, Sharon manages the company’s human resources, overseeing payroll and employee benefits. In addition, she is the company’s compliance officer.
Prior to joining Accredited, Sharon taught middle school history and world geography. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL) and completed graduate course work at UL and the University of New Orleans.
In addition to receiving the Trailblazer award from the National Association of Women Business Owners and Wells Fargo, Sharon also was a finalist for the Orlando Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” award.
Johnny Jallad — Vice President/Director
Johnny has been with Accredited since 1994 and devotes most of his time to the management and operation of the national bail business. Specifically, he manages all marketing and contracting with new bail agents. In addition, he is involved with legislative matters pertinent to the bail industry.
Johnny received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the American University Beirut, Lebanon. He holds a Florida Limited Surety Agent Bail License and a Florida Managing General Bail Agent’s License.
L. Samir Jallad — Vice President/Director
Samir, who has been with Accredited since 1994, oversees the company’s commercial surety division, including the management, operation and new business development. In addition, Samir assists with developing and managing new lines of insurance products.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and holds a Florida General Lines Property and Casualty License, and a Florida Limited Surety Agent Bail License.
Gene Newman — Vice President of Industry Relations
As the Vice President of Industry Relations for Accredited, Gene is responsible for recruiting new agents and maintaining agent relations. He also is Accredited’s legislative liaison, monitoring state and federal initiatives regarding bail.
Gene earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and international business from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also has been designated a Certified Bail Agent from the Professional Bail Agents of the United States.
Marney Emel — Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Marney Emel is responsible for Accredited’s record-keeping, compliance and financial planning. Marney previously served as the company’s Director of Finance.
Prior to joining Accredited, Marney was a tax manager for 10 years at Orlando accounting firm Geller Ragan James Oppenheimer and Creel. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Stetson University.
Marney is a member of the Board of Directors for Harbor House — Orange County’s Center Against Domestic Violence.
